Ever been conversing with someone about your career and have them say:
“Yeah, I build webpages too.”
God, that pisses me off to no end. Especially when the other person in the conversation is attending school to be a Math Teacher or a fetching Medical Transcriptionist….annoying. I just found out that a friend of a friend of an acquaintance “designs” webpages, and I use that word as loosely as possible. The only reason I’m even posting about it is, the fact that all of our mutual friends don’t know anything about computers, let alone the internet, and think “dirk style” designs and cheezy dynamic HTML beats a solid design and functional website…whatever.
On a much more relaxing note, I AM ON VACATION!!!!!! For a total of 9 days straight! Vacation started on Thursday and the boredom quickly set in. Then it hit me, why am I complainging about nothing to do when the Big Gay-Mart is paying me to do nothing for 9 days. At any rate, Monday is the Mrs. 21st birthday. We will be convening at the Luxurious Boomtown located in historic downtown Lewiston, next to Giggles and Gifts….all are welcome to attend. The celebration begins at 9pm.
I think I’m going to take a nap. Later days.

Dirk learnt me everthin’ a feller’d ever need t’know ’bout makin’ webpages:
1. Make sure your colors are as hideous and mismatched as humanly possible.
2. Always build your pages using frames, ‘cuz they’re the schitt.
3. Microsoft FrontPage, all the way, bay-bee!
Oh yea, be sure to put in lots and lots of animated jiffs, ‘cuz people love them.

Thanks everyone for wishing me a happy birthday. It was pretty fun; except for Boomtown was CLOSED. We actually ended up at Shooters, where I immediately began to destroy j3ph (The Mr.) at pool. It was fun nonetheless. Jeff bought my drinks; hallalulu!!!!!!(inside joke), he’s finally good for something….yay…just joking.
