Where Am I Going, Where Have I Been

Oh snaps! With the Thanksgiving holiday come and gone like Paulie Shore’s career, I have to admit, it kind of left me in a daze. The Mrs. and I made the trek to Tualatin, Oregon to visit my family. It was good to visit. My sister is pregnant and due sometime in March I believe. It’s another girl. I feel bad for my brother-in-law, he’s a man’s man and I’m sure he would love to have a son. Not that he wouldn’t love another daughter, you know what I mean. On the way back from the Portland area, Marci and I met up with Josh and went shopping at the American Apparel store located on Burnside Ave. in downtown Portland. For those of you who don’t know what American Apparel is (or how fabulous their clothing is) take a glance at their mission statement. All three of us, spent way too much money, which is easy to do (things are a little expensive); but that’s what happens when you provide 100% sweatshop free, made in America clothing.

So now that you are caught up on last week’s adventures, on to adventures in progress. I’ve been forcing myself to get up early (well, earlier anyway) and go running. I know what you are thinking, why would you go running if you smoke a pack of Camel Turkish Royals everyday? Well, to be honest since I’ve started to exercise I’ve already: felt better throughout the day, sleep better at night, I wake up with energy, and generally am in a better mood. Plus, I’ve already lost 3 pounds. I think I’m going to skip my little workout session this morning though, too many errands to run today. It’s payday you know.

So now onto adventures to come. I’ve pretty much given up on school for the rest of the semester. I only have one class that has any effect on me graduating next semester. As it stands right now, I could pass the class without attending for the rest of the semester. I love small colleges. Anyway, the point I was getting at is with school pretty much out of the way, I’m free to get a jump on some projects that friends and I have been putting off for Christmas Break. I’m excited to get things rolling with the tshirt company Josh and I are currently working toward. It should be a great learning experience. Also, there is talk about making LCSC’s student elections an online ballot. Hopefully that pans out. That could end up being something resume worthy. Alright Starbucks is calling.

  1. Fantastic blog entry, j3ph. Snaps-worthy, dare I say?
I, too, am looking forward to you and JoshBradley getting your start-up internet business going. I really need some new blouses. As for attending classes, I think you should keep going. There’s only a couple weeks left, fer-chrissakes. And who’d keep me company in Nichole’s office? ;-)
