I just received my CES Press/Analyst Pass today in the mail. TBH, I thought they would deny me being as I submitted my “credentials” using the dwindling monk site as my reference. I’m beginning to think that site is a lost cause, but that is a different post.
Accompanying my press pass was a coupon for a free CES branded press bag. Those who have heard the stories from last year’s CES know how hard Rob tried to swindle one from Press Attendees. They were pretty nice bags as I recall. Maybe I’ll try and sell it on ebay.
Some other perks for holders of the prestigious Press/Analyst Pass are daily free luncheons (i’ll have to sneak some food for Marci) and a free gift. I’m betting that free gift has got to be an ipod or maybe some Google stock. Personally, I’d take the ipod.
We (The Mrs., The Other Mrs. and I) leave on the 3rd o’ January. I can hardly wait. I promise I’ll try to atleast post a few times while we are down there. More than likely I’ll be posting over at All Things Dev, atleast on the technical stuff, and more personal stories right here.

Well with Google trading at about 400 at about the price of a 60gig ipod after tax, I guess I could hand over the stock. Maybe I’ll even bring back a crab cake or two for you Tim.
