I Heart Dodgeball
No, not the movie. Well, the movie was really funny, but I’m talking about actually playing the game. I joined the Lewiston City Parks and Recreation Department’s Dodgeball League and I have to say it is a ton-0-fun.
There is only four teams and the rounds go fast (less than 5 minutes) so each team plays nine games in one night. The basic rules apply just like in elementary school, with a few variations of course. Games are held every Thursday at 6:15 p.m.and as always, the big kids always win. Good times.
There’s talk of a dodgeball tournament being held right here at our alma matre. I may have to join. It might be a unfair though seeing as I’m a veteran of the sport now.
For those of you less inclined to have foam spheres hurling past your head, you may want to check out the dodgeball mod of Half Life 2. I need a shower.

Fantastic that you’re trying to set up a Dodgeball tournament, I’m trying to do exactly the same in the UK – but it’s been a bit of a struggle. Check out my blog (www.dodgeballdiva.blog.co.uk) and post a message if you can – I’m trying to encourage all those frustrated Dodgeballers to come forward and play.
