My Ipod is Sad
Ever since Apple released the latest version of Itunes (I believe it’s version 7), my ipod has been very sad. In fact, its been so sad it refuses to play certain podcasts or keep ANY music on it.
My ipod is stubborn. I took my ipod to the doctor the other day. Dr. Jobs told me to make sure to update it regularly and to restore it if need be. Well my ipod is so stubborn, it won’t accept any updates OR restore to an earlier firmware version. Things are not looking good for the little guy.
I hope Dr. Jobs can find a remedy soon or maybe I’ll have to find a new doctor. I hear Dr. Gates is accepting new patients!

Dood, that really REALLY sux.
It’s even worse that “Dr. Jobs” can’t offer a prescription that will make things all better. I thought maybe his 7.0.1 iTunes upgrade/fix might solve some problems, but from what I’ve been reading, it hasn’t. Am I right in assuming that most of the people having “major” problems (like yourself) are using the Windows platform? ‘Cuz myself, although I’ve had some issues and some of my files have mysteriously “disappeared”, things haven’t been too horribly bad. But OS X keeps all those little iPod software updates in its Utilities folder, so going from update 1.2 back to 1.1.2 wasn’t a big problem. Sorry, I’m rambling.
Buzz Out Loud says if you turn off the Equalizer on your ‘Pod, it’ll probably play those files its been refusing to play. But I’m sure you knew that….
Actually, I didn’t know that about the equalizer, Tim. BOL is one of the ‘unplayable’ podcasts. I looked and it was already off
Oh, well. I guess I’ll just have to wait for a new update that actually works to enjoy my podcasts again. God forbid I have to sit at my computer and listen to them…

I’ve been using mine for over 4 years, and never one problem. Archos are built to last.
