Beckham Popped His U.S. Cherry

If you didn’t already know, David Beckham has signed a contract with the L.A. Galaxy to play soccer for them. Actually, he signed the contract earlier this year and has been playing for the team for about a month now. Anywho, he’s finally scored his first goal as an MLS player.

Since David Beckham has been on the L.A. Galaxy, every venue they have played in has been sold out. His L.A. Galaxy jersey has become the best selling sports memorabilia of all time. He has single-handedly revitalized soccer in the United States.
